Story of DKDKnit

Knitting has been a part of my life growing up as it is a part of culture in Turkey where I am originally from. Friends and family remind me about the sweaters I knitted and gifted starting at the age of 10. When my passion grew into something bigger, I decided to turn it into small business. I started DKDKnit  in 2014 along with my mother and sister and I have also been attending craft fairs where I meet people who like what I do.  I knit everywhere I  go and do not ever plan to stop.

Our goal is to keep the art of knitting alive and encourage and empower women.

I live in Cambridge, MA with my 2 sons and my sons' drawings of me are always with mom sitting in her chair knitting:)
